DESCRIPTION
Each student must create a mini report on a new subject each day that our regular class would meet. Each mini report should be done on a Google Document and be 500 words long at the minimum. The document should then be posted on our website update with pictures to accompany it.
This website update will focus on our fourth mini report, The Giant Squid. We needed to research the giant squid, how scientists found it in the wild for the first time, and what they hope to learn from studying it.

REFLECTION
It was difficult to find information on such an elusive creature, and most information I found was applicable to all mollusks. I liked seeing the videos of the giant squid. I thought that the methods of reaching and keeping the giant squid were harsh at times. For example, one squid was kept tied to a pier until it died overnight and it's body was kept for a museum exhibit. It was interesting to see how dedicated people were to finding the creature.
